Cheryl hosted the first episode of her brand new music podcast on Friday, You; Me & R&B, airing on BBC Sounds.
The gorgeous Geordie announce her new venture in a rare post on Instagram.
Cheryl will be reliving her teenage years where she discovered her love of the genre, and during the episode she played tracks from Mary J Blige, Blackstreet, TLC and many more.
In the show she reminisced on what the genre meant to her and even some of the encounters she’d had with artists.
“I’ve always had an absolute love and passion for R&B and I’m so excited to share my new show with you on @BBCSounds,” said Cheryl.
Fans got a real sneak peek into the stars love of R&B as she rounded off the show with a steamy love letter.
Cheryl said: “Every show I will be dipping into the steamy end of the R&B pool to find the sexiest anthems around.
“If you’re anything like me, I’m sure you’ll agree there isn’t anything quite like R&B for getting you in the mood of love, of feeling good, of feeling sexy.”
Cheryl rose to fame in 2002 when she won a place in Girls Aloud, a girl group created through ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals.
The singer, dancer and television personality has filled TV screens for the last two decades.
No stranger to presenting, Cheryl was a judge on the X-Factor 2008-16 and mentored two winners, Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry.
The brunette beauty has taken multiple breaks away from the limelight over the last decade and is notoriously private about her personal life.
Cheryl shares a four-year-old son Bear with her One Direction ex Liam Payne.
The couple were first rumoured to be romantically involved in 2015 during the X Factor final, which was also One Direction’s last performance together, eyewitnesses said the pair were flirting.
Two months later, in February the pair confirmed their relationship when Liam updated his Instagram photo of the pair looking loved up and he wrote in his bio, “Happy”.
The pair faced criticism for their ten-year age gap but that did not stop the blossoming romance.
After months of speculation Cheryl and Liam announced the birth of their baby boy in March 2017 via social media.
In July 2018 the pair announced, via Twitter, that they had gone their separate ways after over two years together.
She has since remained single but we’re sure that Cheryl would have no problem finding someone to listen to R&B with.
