Coronation Street fans were floored during tonight’s episode as Carla Connor wore the ‘same dress’ as Meghan Markle.
The character was set to tie the knot with Peter Barlow during Friday’s episode and fans were gushing over her gorgeous frock made by Nina Lucas.
Carla looked beautiful in a figure-hugging black frock with white lace flowers on it.
It looked just like the black gown with white flowers the Duchess of Sussex wore for her tell-all Oprah Winfrey interview.
Viewers went into meltdown on Twitter as one said: “Is Carla wearing a similar dress to Meghan from her interview with Oprah?”

While another wrote: “@itvcorrie Carla’s wedding dress has a touch of the Meghan Markle Oprah interview about it”.
“Carla’s got Meghan’s dress on”, penned a third.
Fans couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful Carla looked on her wedding day as she prepared to tie the knot with Peter.
Another said: “Oh Carla looks BEAUTIFUL”.
A fifth gushed: “Carla is absolutely beautiful”.

Peter was left seriously ill after his liver failed due to another alcoholism relapse.
Carla had continued to tell Peter they should postpone their wedding, but Peter was determined to make Carla his wife before it was too late.
Tonight, Daniel Osbourne told his half brother he wanted to drive him to the hospital, instead of the wedding venue.

He said to him: “I think I should drive you to the hospital.”
Peter refused as he replied: “I’ve let Carla down too many times and I’m not gonna do it again.
“So are you gonna drive me to my wedding or do I have to get a taxi?”
They arrived at the wedding just in time for the ceremony.
Carla said her gorgeous vows, but when it was Peter’s turn he was not in a good way.
He said to her: “Look at you, my beautiful, powerful, strong woman. What did I do to deserve you?”
Carla told Peter to carry on quickly as they needed to get him home.
They made it through the moving vows and were legally pronounced husband and wife.
However, when they arrived back home, Peter took a turn for the worst.
As their loved ones showered them with confetti, Peter collapsed onto the cobbles.
Will he be okay? Fans will have to wait and see what happens next week.
Corrie airs on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm, with an hour long episode at 7.30pm on Fridays.
