Corrie's Lucy Fallon 'splits' from footballer boyfriend as she joins dating app

Lucy Fallon appears to have split from her footballer Ryan Ledson – after she was allegedly spotted on the celebrity version of Tinder.

The ex-Coronation Street star – who played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap until last year – had been dating Preston North End midfielder Ryan since May.

The pair also moved in with each other three months ago.

However, Lucy apparently appeared on an A-list dating app called Raya on Tuesday (December 21) – which suggests she’s a newly single lady.

A source told The Sun: “Lucy appears to have given Ryan the red card because she has got a profile on Raya.

“It seems she is looking for dates too, as the profile doesn’t state she is just looking for friendship.

“She’s been with Ryan since May and they only moved in together three months ago so if their romance has turned sour already it is a real shame.”

According to The Sun, Lucy’s Raya profile describes her as an actress living in Manchester – and shows snaps of Lucy on the red carpet at the NME Awards last year.

Lucy previously dated insurance manager Tom Leech for four years before meeting Ryan.

The couple split during her stint on the ITV challenge show Don’t Rock The Boat – which aired in August last year.

Lucy announced she was leaving Corrie back in 2019 – and her last appearance on the soap came at the start of last year.

During her time on Corrie, she won a number of awards – including a National Television Award and British Soap Award.

Fallon described Bethany as: “a bit of a wild child. She’s very feisty, but she does a lot of it to get a reaction.”

Next year, the actress will appear in the role of Molly in an upcoming ITV miniseries called Tom Jones – an adaptation of a novel by Henry Fielding called The History of Tom Jones.

She is also set to star in a short film called Whispers by Laura Kirsty Philips.

Daily Star has contacted Lucy’s representative for comment.
