Eamonn Holmes has shared a health update with fans amid his battle with chronic pain.

The This Morning host, 61, has been documenting his pain in recent weeks after he was left in the “worst pain” he has ever experienced.

Ever since doctors got to the bottom of his agony and diagnosed him with a dislocated pelvis, Eamonn has dedicated himself to light daily exercises to help relieve the pain.

Opening up about the excruciating pain he’s enduring at the moment, Eamonn told fans that he’s “laid up” at home as “things all round aren’t good”.

In a video posted to his Twitter account, the TV star explained: “Morning everyone. I’m here laid up at home on the couch with my three discs out on my back.

“About a month ago I did something to my back, I don’t know what,” Eamonn recalled.

“It could have been getting into a car, getting out of bed, whatever.

“I’ve got an MRI scan but the problem is everything closes down at Easter so I haven’t got it analysed yet.

“What I do know is I can’t sleep at night; the pain is worse at night.
