Former EastEnders star Shana Swash, who played teen mum Demi Miller on the BBC soap, has announced that she is engaged to her long-term partner, Nick Jones.
She shared the happy news on her Instagram page, holding her hand up to show off her ring to the camera.
The pair, who are currently on holiday in Spain together, looked seriously loved-up as they posed in front of an idyllic backdrop.
Shana smiled at the camera as she captioned the snap: “I SAID YES!” as her new fiancé kissed her on the cheek.
She then shared another glimpse at the huge ring with a close-up of them holding hands on the beach, and also shared a snap of them kissing.
Shana, 31, is the sister of Joe Swash, 39, who is currently expecting his first baby daughter with Stacey Solomon.
Stacey Solomon, who met Joe while appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, has just finished decorating their new baby’s pretty pink nursery as the couple conclude their renovation at their home, Pickle Cottage.
Stacey even commented on Shana’s sweet announcement, where she penned: “Best news ever,” followed by a multitude of red heart emojis.
The expectant mum was clearly excited that the auntie to her new baby girl would be getting wed in the near future, meaning that her unborn ‘pickle’ will have an official uncle in Nick Jones.
Joe and Shana, who are siblings in real life, also played siblings in the popular BBC soap opera.
Many fans, friends, family and followers flocked to Shana’s announcement to share their love and best wishes.
One fan penned: “Beautiful news, congratulations guys.”
Another wrote: “What a fantastic year 2021 is turning out to be. So happy for you beautiful.”
While Joe and Shana’s sister Cassie commented: “My little sister is engaged. Sooo happy for you both xxxx”
Shana and Joe were born in Islington, London and both grew up to become actors.
