EastEnders star Melissa Suffield, who used to play Lucy Beale on the BBC soap, was praised by her followers for sharing a series of post-baby snaps on her Instagram page.
The actress and mum-of-one proudly showed off her stretch marks, curves in a body confidence post after showing how her figure has changed after going through a pregnancy.
Grinning to her fans, the 28-year-old donned a white lacy bra and knicker set for the occasion, sending them wild with the stunning display.
Melissa and fiancé Robert Brendan welcomed their first child last March.
And the star declared she wanted to take back ownership of her body after 12 months of breastfeeding son River.
Wearing lingerie from luxury London brand Beija, the actress snapped herself having a private photo shoot in her bedroom in Kent.
Melissa captioned the images: “Who knows where my body is going to go from now, but I’m all about doing what I can to make myself feel good TODAY. And getting out of crop tops and maternity pants is certainly a good place to start.”
Fans took to the comments to praise the new mum for her brave post.
“You are gorgeous! I’ve not moved out of my giant knickers yet,” one shared.
Another appreciated her natural body and choice to go unfiltered: “Oh hello yummy mummy.”
Melissa also told her followers: “Finishing breastfeeding after a year, I’m like OH HEY BODY, WELCOME BACK.
“It feels good to know I can start to concentrate on myself again, and take back some ownership after pregnancy and pumping.
The former EastEnders actress continued in the motivational post: “Starting on making little daily changes, whether that’s an extra caffeinated coffee, or underwear that isn’t for feeding a baby. This @beijalondon Waves set is STUH-NING.
“Delicate, and yet genuinely comfortable- and even though I was dreading a return to underwires, it is such a great fit that it hasn’t even registered!
“I had a virtual fitting with Julie, and I’d recommend it to anyone. She was warm, knowledgeable, and there was no awkwardness or anything at all.”
Melissa played Ian Beale’s daughter Lucy in EastEnders between 2004 and 2010, and was the third in a long line of actresses to take on the role.
EastEnders continues on Monday at 8.05pm on BBC.
