Emmerdale killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) targets Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) in upcoming scenes after murdering his young daughter Leanna.
Fans of the ITV soap witnessed the evil nurse kill young Leanna in devastating scenes last week.
The villain villain pushed Leanna off the humpbacked bridge following a tense showdown after she found her trinket box.
Meena had previously viewed Leanna as an ally to remove Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) from boyfriend David Metcalfe’s (Matthew Wolfenden) life.
Her plan went deadly wrong when Leanna accidentally discovered a secret about Meena’s involvement in the death of her former best friend.
Evil nurse Meena lost her temper when the Pride tin fell out of the bag, and Leanna quickly realised it wasn’t Jacob that took it.
Leanna started going through a tin of Meena’s newspaper cuttings about her friends death involving foul play and Meena eventually confessed she didn’t mean for her to die.
Leanna tried to run away but tripped and fell over in the high heels she put on for her birthday party.

Meena goaded her in the graveyard as she tried to escape and eventually caught up with the scared youngster.
She waited until Leanne took her final breath before stealing a ring from her.
Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that Leanne’s dad Liam goes missing in upcoming scenes and his new wife Leyla is frantic.
Meena, annoyed David is pandering to Leyla, resolves to find Liam herself.

Soon she finds a dishevelled Liam slumped on a bench at the crematorium.
As she apologises for his loss, Liam has no idea he’s sat by his daughter’s killer.
He can’t escape memories of Leanna so Meena suggests clearing out her belongings – what he can’t see will no longer hurt him.
Soon Meena proudly returns to the village with Liam, enjoying her role as hero.
Later, Leyla’s concerned to see Liam piling bin bags of Leanna’s belongings outside. Furious with Meena for suggesting such an idea.
The next day feigning sincerity, Meena apologises to Leyla while Jacob lambasts Liam for disposing of Leanna like she’s rubbish.
Accusations fly between Liam and Jacob and Leyla offers to leave Liam alone, reiterating she will always love him.

Liam asks her not to go as he needs her more than ever. He later asks for her help with Leanna’s funeral arrangements.
Jacob offers to help her but she’s not sure it’s a good idea. Finally Leyla agrees as long as they keep it a secret from Liam.
