Emmerdale star says Jimmy King is 'on the card to die' in Lorraine bombshell

Emmerdale’s Nick Miles admitted he’s in the firing line on the soap, as his character Jimmy King is at risk of getting killed off.

The actor, 58, appeared on Wednesday’s Lorraine, discussing the nail-biting soap storyline with the Scottish presenter.

Disclosing the details of upcoming scenes on the soap, Nick explained three characters are at risk of dying this week – and he is one of them.

He said: “I think people might be surprised. I think they’ll know it’s one of three people by now and I’m on the card. But they won’t know who yet.”

In a teaser clip of the chilling scenes to come, Jimmy can be seen driving a huge haulage van, only to be blinded by the sunlight.

His truck goes off the road, ploughing into a pile of haystacks – and leaving lives hanging in the balance.

Emmerdale bosses have confirmed one character will meet a sorry end this week, but the identity of the victim still remains a mystery.

Nick admitted he has had a “great run at 17 years” on the soap, adding “if this is the end” he won’t be too sorry.

However, host Lorraine Kelly was left hoping Jimmy would survive the week on the soap, saying: “You better survive this or else!”

Nick’s revelation comes after his co-star Reece Dinsdale got a telling off for accidentally leaking an Emmerdale spoiler during an appearance on This Morning.

Reece, who plays gambling addict Paul Ashdale on the soap, appeared on Monday’s show to discuss the week ahead with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

At one point, Reece revealed four people are at risk of dying on the soap – mistakenly sharing some classified information with viewers.

He said: “At the beginning, you see three beds and you don’t see who’s in them, but you might see who is visiting those beds.

“Then by the end of this week the stunt comes to a conclusion, and I think a fourth member of the cast, one of the characters, is wheeled through as well.

“So we’ve got one of four who could meet their end.”

Soap expert Sharon Marshall appeared on This Morning the following day, scolding Reece for spilling the soap spoiler on national television.

She tutted: “Right so Reece was on yesterday for Emmerdale and blew a few secrets.

“You weren’t meant to know there were four people! Reece!”

Lorraine airs on weekdays at 9am on ITV .
