GMB weather girl Lucy Verasamy shows off glam 'work uniform' in behind-the-scenes snaps

Lucy Verasamy teased her 153,000 Instagram followers with a number of unearthed snaps.

The gorgeous 40-year-old no doubt left fans green with envy as she paraded her comfy “work uniform” in the backstage snaps.

Looking like a professional in front of the lens, the Good Morning Britain weather girl beamed a huge smile while appearing effortlessly stylish.

Opting for a country-vibe, she rocked knee-length wellington boots, black skinny jeans that were teamed with a tucked in grey jumper and her signature green wax jacket – which she has already modelled a few times before.

Her shoulder length brunette locks were groomed into on-trend brushed out waves.

The ITV explorer captioned: “Filming in my work uniform: wellies and wax jacket.”

Her post certainly seemed to captivate online users, with the steamy collaboration of behind-the-scenes images racking up thousands of likes.

Lucy who is quite private, will often opt to turn her comments off and on this occasion she did just that.

The post supports Lucy’s new TV adventure, alongside TV chef Chris Baber, ITV and Marks and Spencer.

With all parties involved, Lucy and Chris are lucky enough to be touring around the UK sampling all of England’s finest produce.

The duo have been updating fans non-stop as they explore the wonders of British agriculture – with Chris later cooking up an absolute storm in the kitchen to use up the fresh ingredients.

Just this week, Lucy showcased an epic rainbow footage.

She and Chris grabbed hold of large white umbrella’s as the rain fell and the sun shone brightly.

They couldn’t resist smiling for the camera as a multitude of colours lit up in the sky.

Sharing the compilation of images, Lucy said: “Stunning evening light, moody clouds & full arc double rainbows after a full day of filming.

“Sums up a British summers evening!

“Swipe for footage – and the view in the other direction. We were in Lincolnshire but it was like the Great Plains in the US… Very Wizard of Oz.”
