Gogglebox Sally congratulated by fans as she announces birth of second grandson

Gogglebox star Sally Hayward has been inundated with sweet messages from fans after announcing the arrival of a new baby boy – a grandson called Jaxx.

54-year-old Sally, who is one of the Channel 4 show’s most popular cast members, has appeared on the show with her daughter Paige Deville since 2019.

However, they might need to make some more room on the sofa soon just in case their newest addition to the family ever makes his big debut on the telly-watching series.

It means bubbly Sally has become a grandmother for the second time and she took to Instagram to announce the exciting news of her latest grandson – much to the delight of fans.

Sharing a snap of her grandson Hunter holding the beautiful baby, Sally penned: “Hunter meeting his little brother Jaxx. Two gorgeous Grandsons to love and cherish, feeling blessed.”

Her delighted followers quickly rushed to congratulate the family on their new little bundle of joy.

Mother-daughter-duo Sally and Paige have left Gogglebox viewers in stitches since joining the show with their quick-witted quips and down-to-earth personalities.

Earlier this year, Sally was left fuming when Paige revealed she had cheekily set her up with a Tinder account so that she could try online dating.

Viewers were in hysterics as Sally found out she’d been thrust into the world of dating apps without realising.

The pair had just settled down on the sofa in Birmingham when Paige said: “So your first name is Sally and you are a woman,”

“And you’re interested in men, is that right?”

Sally was immediately suspicious, and shot back: “Hang on a minute. What the hell are you doing?”

Paige then explained that she was setting up a Tinder profile for her mum, who was far from pleased to discover Paige’s secret antics.

Sally said: “I’m not going on Tinder!”, and ended up storming out the room as Paige burst into fits of giggles.

Gogglebox is currently on a break, with viewers currently able to watch the celebrity version of the show each Friday instead.
