Holly Willoughby broke down in floods of tears during Tuesday’s This Morning as she asked her co-star Phillip Schofield to take over.
The 39-year-old television star began sobbing on the ITV show after singing nuns Sister Geraldine Marie and Sister Gabriel shared their touching words.
Phil asked the nuns about their decision to devote their lives to God.
They answered: “It’s not an easy decision to make, but imagine for yourself, when you met the person you loved, and you wanted to give your life to them, that’s not an easy decision to make.

“In every walk of life, whether we are single, married, called to religious life, it’s an act of faith and an act of trust.
“Somewhere you are placing yourself in the hands of somebody else, we are all doing that somewhere, of course, it takes great courage and you have to believe that ultimately it will work out and be okay.”
Holly began to well up as she said: “That’s going to make me cry, listening to that.”

The Arundel nuns, who have become chart-toppers with their stunning music, continued: “When you listen to our CD, if you’re at home and fed up or anxious or feeling depressed, just know in West Sussex there is a community of women and we are here and we are with you.
“And we are making the journey as well.”
Holly broke down in tears as she cried: “Thank you, there are just some people who talk and they really get you don’t they, oh that took me by surprise.

“You are going to have to read this bit,” she told Phil.
Holly wiped away tears from her eyes as she added: “Sorry, it’s just when somebody says it’s all going to be okay, it’s just nice to hear isn’t it.”
ITV viewers went into meltdown on Twitter as they found the segment emotional too.
One said: “My goodness I was with you there… I think we could have listened to those wonderful ladies all day!
“So gentle & supportive & I will be purchasing their stunning new album.”
While another wrote: “This brought a tear to my eye. I felt very emotional listening to this.”
A third added: “I teared up too ! Beautiful words and such calming music”.
“I’m with you Holly, I was watching and got very emotional”, penned another.
