Holly Willoughby models black cocktail dress in bed for sultry photoshoot

Holly Willoughby made lounging fashionable with her latest photoshoot, which saw the This Morning presenter relax in bed in a polka-dot frock.

Part of her new range with Marks & Spencer, the black silky gown featured a high-neckline and a spotted daisy print from hem to cuff.

In the photo, which was shared by the official Marks & Spencer account, Holly reclined on her bed, holding a retro camera in her hands.

Barefoot, she propped her legs up on a beige headboard, stretching out on some white linen sheets.

The photo’s caption read: “Not-so-patiently waiting for occasions to wear our new favourite dress. @hollywilloughby.”

During the lockdown, each of Holly’s shoots for Marks & Spencer have been carried out in her West London home, with her family stepping in to help take the snaps.

As well as highlighting her sense of style, the housebound photoshoots give fans a glimpse at Holly’s stylish home decor, with wooden panelling in her corridor and antique furniture in the bedroom.

Holly has long been an ambassador for the high-street retailer, modelling their wares and releasing namesake capsule collections.

As part of her ambassadorship, the ITV star regularly shares her shopping tips with fans, letting them in on some of her fashionable trade secrets.

Speaking to Grazia in 2018, Holly admitted comfort was number one when it came to her wardrobe, plumping for looks that make her feel good.

And, when it comes to colour, she isn’t afraid to experiment, citing powder pink as her favourite shade to bring a pop of colour to a look.

She told the publication: “I think you should be able to wear pink and not just feel really girly: you should feel empowered in pink.

“There’s this thing in our head that you have to wear black because it’s super-flattering, and of course it’s very chic but you shouldn’t be afraid of colour at all.”

The presenter, who stepped out in a candy-pink frock on last weekend’s Dancing On Ice, added: “It can really lift you, like a flash on a camera.

“Just be a bit proud and a bit bold and a bit confident.”
