Home and Away fan favourite John Palmer (Shane Withington) has fallen hard for the beautiful and mysterious Susie McAllister (Bridie Carter) in recent weeks.
But while John is sure he has finally found happiness after splitting from his ex Marilyn, viewers will soon see that she is a con artist.
In episodes next week, she rifles through his things while alone in his house and looks through his financial records and takes photos.
While John is yet to discover the truth about Susie and the whirlwind romance he thinks they’re embarking on, it surely won’t be long before she is exposed.

But when Susie is finally outed as a manipulative con artist, could he end up back in the arms of Marilyn?
Speaking about the possibility of a reunion to Daily Star, Shane said: “John and Marilyn together was funny and successful and people loved it, but the writers decided to push us off in different directions.
“I like him being a free wheel at the moment, it’s nice to bring new blood and new stuff through.

“I’d like John to be a loser in love for a few years before he finds someone, but the door is open, maybe the writers will put John and Marilyn back together again…” adding that it was up to the writers.
Bridie also previously spoke about a potential love triangle between her character and the two exes, telling Daily Star: “It would be interesting if Marilyn saw Susie and John together and it made her miss him.

However, it looks like John is going to stay smitten with Susie for a while longer, as he continued: “He is besotted with her, like a deer in the headlights.
“He is ready to move on but gets caught by susie like a fly in a web, he is really is besotted.
“People do prey on people who are vulnerable and lonely, and it’s hook, line and sinker for him.”
Is real estate agent Susie going to be successful in her elaborate con, or will John and his friends cotton on to her dark plan as she settles in to live with him?
