I'm A Celeb winner Giovanna Fletcher talks 'heartache' ahead of entering the castle

Author and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Giovanna Fletcher has taken to Instagram to show her support for this year’s series whilst talking about the heartache she experienced during her own time in the castle.

36-year-old Giovanna is married to McFly band member Tom Fletcher, and the childhood sweethearts have three sons together, Buzz, Buddy and Max.

She posted a picture of the boys on Instagram, showing them perched underneath a small tree and all wearing a cheeky grin.

The proud mother wrote: “A year ago I was in isolation with these three, wondering what on earth the month ahead would have in store. I can remember the apprehension in the build up, the nerves and worry, and the heartache at having to say goodbye to my loves.

“That said, I can also recall the excitement that comes from jumping out of your comfort zone and into something new.

“I can’t wait to watch this year’s I’m A Celebrity. I’ll be cheering the new campmates on and hope they manage to embrace every aspect of it!”

Fans gushed in the comments: “Beautiful photo, can’t wait for I’m A Celebrity either.”

One wrote: “Me too! We LOVE watching! LOVED you guys last year!”

“My fave show and the best time of the year, you were fantastic, we voted for you every day. Can’t wait for I’m A Celebrity to start too,” another joined in.

Giovanna recently spoke about the prospect of another child with her husband Tom.

Back in March she revealed that she wasn’t planning on a fourth member of the Fletcher family, saying: “I’d be surprised if I had a fourth one! I don’t think so, no. Never say never but I feel so lucky and grateful to have the three boys.”

“I spent a lot of my third pregnancy wondering if I was pushing my luck. I felt worried that I was expecting too much to have another baby.”

She also said she was “lucky” to have her three sons, and said: “I’m not yearning to have another in the house. If we had a girl, she’d be doing all the things the boys would do anyway.”

“Whatever you get as a parent, you’re lucky. I guess you have to wonder what you’ll achieve by having a girl and what do you think you’re missing by not having that.”
