Louise Redknapp is enjoying life as a single woman and isn’t bothered about dating other people, a source has revealed.
Mum-of-two Louise, 46, split with her ex-husband Jamie Redknapp back in 2017 after nearly 20 years of marriage.
Football pundit Jamie is now happy with his new girlfriend Frida Andersson-Lourie, and the pair are expecting a baby together after model Frida confirmed the pregnancy on social media back in May.
However, former Eternal singer Louise has remained single since they broke up, with a source claiming that she’s happy to keep things that way and isn’t bothered about meeting someone new.
It appears Louise would rather spend her time focusing on her career goals, and doesn’t want to meet someone on a dating app like Tinder, preferring to meet someone in person, according to an insider.
The source told new! magazine: “Louise is putting so much effort into her career right now. She’s still not bothered about dating yet.
“If she meets someone, she meets someone. But she won’t force it. She’s not interested in any dating apps — she’d prefer to meet someone organically.”
“But she feels love will find her when it’s meant to.”
“Until then, she’s happy as she is”.
Louise revealed she had split with Jamie back in September 2017 – after confirming the separation on ITV’s This Morning, and the pair were then granted a decree nisi for divorce on 29 December 2017.
The singer split with Jamie after doing Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 where she reached the final with her partner Kevin Clifton.
Louise and Jamie both share their sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, who both divide their time between their parents’ houses.
The famous pair have also both praised each other’s brilliant parenting abilities, suggesting they remain on good terms.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Jamie praised Louise for doing a “great job” of co-parenting their two boys Charley and Beau – saying that they “try to be tough but fair” as parents.
The source went on to say that Louise felt she lost her identity in her marriage with Jamie, but now she’s ready to the things she’s always wanted to do in her career and feels free.
They added that Louise faced up to the news of Jamie’s baby with Frida by dealing with all of her emotions, and that as the due date gets closer, she’s been keeping herself busy and making a new life for herself.
The Daily Star have approached Louise Redknapp’s representatives for comment.
