Former EastEnders actress Martine McCutcheon wowed fans with a series of glamorous Instagram photos over the weekend as she showed off a dramatic weight loss.
The ageless star, 45, posed outside in a beautiful garden wearing a black leather skirt that hugged her hips and a loose black and white striped jumper.
Martine, who is currently working with British fashion brand Wallis, told her 456k Instagram followers: “I love getting all dressed up for the Christmas festivities, parties, get-togethers and the rest and @wallisfashion have the perfect choice.
“I LOVE this pleather A-line skirt and this classic French-style jumper that is so warm and cosy.”
Fans flooded the comments to praise Martine’s glamorous look.
One said: “You look stunning and that outfit is beautiful.”
Another fan commented : “You look the best you’ve ever looked.”
While another user messaged: ” Darling, you are Christmas. Well Love, Actually.”
The Love Actually star has been open about her weight loss journey in the past as she spoke of how she lost a stone through The Cambridge Diet.
She told Hello! how she adopted the programme of low calorie shakes, soups and snack bars after she struggled to lose baby weight following the birth of her son.
However some fans have voiced their concern calling the star “too thin” and urged her “not to lose any more weight”.
One user commented: “Beautiful as always but just a bit thin.”
Another wrote: “Where have you gone? Very worrying how much weight you have lost.”
A third urged the star to “get help” and a fourth said: “Don’t lose any more weight babe.”
Martine, who made her children’s TV debut as a teenager, has spoken previously about how growing up in the public eye made her aware of her weight from a young age.
“I was always conscious of staying as thin as I could be,” she said in a 2016 interview. “It looked better on camera, meant I could fit into size 8 sample sizes and it was easier and more affordable with stylists.”
When asked how many hurtful comments affected her, she admitted “there were hundreds” and said she was body shamed “loads of times’”
“People spoke about me like I was a piece of meat and I can’t believe that’s still going on in this day and age,” Martine added.
