Love Island 2021 cast were 'not my type of people' says Shannon Singh

Love Island’s Shannon Singh has thrown a subtle swipe at her fellow islanders as she revealed that they’re not her “type of people”.

The beauty met the 2021 cast last month as she joined the original line-up of the show but was kicked out of the villa in just 48 hours after a brutal dumping.

Shannon was the first original to leave the villa, and as Brad became the second original to join her, she admitted to Daily Star Online that she hasn’t spoken to Brad since he left.

She said: “If he reaches out maybe I’ll speak to him but I’m just getting on with me. I love the show, I’m still watching it and I’ve been tweeting about it but I don’t know. It’s a weird one.

“I think I can agree that the people – I love Libby and stuff – but I don’t think they were my type of people to be honest, no.

“They’re all lovely and amazing, we’ll be friends, obviously I’ll see them at the reunion and whatnot but I don’t feel the need to reach out to Brad, he’s not really my type.”

Meanwhile, the likes of Brad and Sharon have made it clear that they have been in touch since the dumping through a series of posts on their Instagram story.

The pair have joked about missing one another in the villa, proving that they’re still staying in touch despite their respective dumpings

However, for both Sharon and Brad, they had made the most of their time in the villa, but as Shannon was only in for 48 hours, she didn’t get the same option.

She said: “I think people forget it’s a game show sometimes, but I’m like 48 hours – what is the point? I was in a quarantine villa, they pumped out all this budget, why waste your own time?

“But I do have to say the team at ITV were great. I’ve taken it all with a pinch of salt. I have moved on now, I tried the experience, met some amazing people and I’m not one to dwell on the past.

“To sum it up, I was completely gutted, but the experience was great.”

Shannon will still be reuniting with her fellow islanders at the reunion, but it’s likely that the person she’s hoping to reach out to upon exit is certainly going to be Liberty.

The beauty has praised the blonde bombshell for being “amazing”, while adding that she “loves Jake” too.
