Love Island's Brad and Lucinda forced to fight to decide who stays on show

Love Island’s Brad McClelland and Lucinda Strafford will decide which one of them will be dumped from the villa in another brutal twist this year.

The pair have been left to make the painful decision after they were voted this year’s least compatible Love Island couple in a shock viewers’ poll.

It will be the latest in a string of savage surprise dumpings from the villa.

Others have included the shock exit of Daily Star page 3 girl Ruby – real name Shannon Singh, 22 – after only 48 hours on the show.

The remaining couples were told on Tuesday night they had been the subject of a public vote in a text to Liberty.

It read: “Islanders. The public have been voting for the couple that they think is the most compatible.

“Those with the fewest votes risk being dumped tonight. Please all stand up.”

Four couples who got the highest votes were immediately told they were safe, with Brad and Lucinda scoring the lowest of the final three.

It came despite the pair gushing over each other’s looks on their first date.

If recent episodes are anything to go by, it would seem that their romance was one of the strongest when compared to Aaron Francis and Kaz Kamwi, and Hugo Hammond and Sharon Gaffka, who are all in friendship couples.

Monday night caused quite a stir after the boys were asked to select the girl that they wanted to couple up with.

It was all to play for when Sharon, Faye Winter, Rachel Finni and Kaz were left for the pickings.

Model Aaron stepped up and left fans with their jaws on the floor when he opted to pick Kaz over Sharon who he’d had on and off feelings for previously.

By choosing Kaz, he proved that he had completely drawn a line in the sand for anything romantic with Sharon.

Hugo was next and swooped in to save Sharon, even though they had clashed last week during a game that shocked viewers.

Lastly, new guy Teddy was ready to couple up for the first time since arriving in the villa.

Despite gravitating to both Rachel and Faye, he felt he had a stronger connection with the real estate agent.

Which meant Rachel had not been selected by anyone and so she was evicted.
