Former Love Island star Dr Alex George has started an OnlyFans account to offer mental health support to over-18s.
The ex-islander, who is also an A&E Doctor and Government Mental Health Ambassador, will offer free advice on the platform.
Most OnlyFans creators are known to offer raunchy pictures and videos for a monthly subscription on the site.
However, in an OnlyFans UK first, Alex will be using the platform to share content that aims to support those who need advice from a mental health perspective.
He will provide content for an older demographic to complement his youth work as government ambassador, and hopes to cover all bases as the nation navigates out of the longest lockdown to date.
Talking about joining OnlyFans, Dr Alex said: “My aim is to share wellbeing and self care advice on all platforms, making trusted and engaging content available online.
“Therefore, for the over-18 age group, I have set up an OnlyFans page which is completely FREE to access, no pay wall whatsoever.
“Followers can expect regular posts and videos around mental health, self care and positivity. I am excited to create a like minded online community on OnlyFans.”
As well as accessing a creators’ pics and videos on an OnlyFans page, you can also engage with them directly, via personal messages, and motivational advice tailored to suit you.
Fellow stars with OnlyFans accounts include Bella Thorne, Blac Chyna, as well as ex-Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson, who all post racy content.
However, others are now using the platform in different ways.
Former islander Adam Collard, joined the site in December 2020 to offer fitness content and bespoke nutrition advice to his fans.
Chloe Madeley and husband James Haskell also share fitness videos on the site.
The news comes after it was announced this week that OnlyFans has banned content creators from sharing public sex pictures and videos.
The platform has informed its content creators that they can no longer share images and videos featuring sex in “public places”.
The terms of use for OnlyFans now state that sexually explicit content that “was recorded in or is being broadcast from a public place where members of the public are reasonably likely to see the activities being illustrated” is no longer allowed.
