Love Island's Faye and Teddy confirm plans to move in together as they leave villa

Love Island’s Faye Winter and Teddy Soares will be looking for their first home together immediately after leaving the villa, the pair have confirmed.

After spending most of the summer strictly by one another’s side, they have decided that although they won’t be stuck together like glue, they do want to continue living together at least some of the time.

The pair will be getting a place together, but Faye will still be based in Devon a few days per week, so she can be around her loved ones.

Faye said: “Teddy will still have his own space, to be able to see friends, family, but it will be our place and we will still spend time apart until we want to be with each other fully. I think that’s our next step.”

She explained that she’s waiting to see how she gets on in London, and added that Teddy will be getting some wellies and heading down to Devon.

Teddy said: “Personally when we’ve spoken about it I’m really open to Devon, anywhere in the UK that gets me closer to Faye.”

The beauty reaffirmed that the pair are going to make things work, despite their distance, and they’re willing to take a big step towards making that happen.

Speaking on their experience, Faye confessed that Teddy taught her “a lot” about herself, adding: “The only way you can get anywhere in life and to be able to be happy with someone is to be able to let your guard down and be vulnerable, as hard as that may be.”

Teddy also agreed that his experience also taught him to be vulnerable, adding: “I think it’s very important for me to tap into that side of themselves as opposed to kind of just being macho and running away from situations.”

Faye and Teddy had a rocky time in the villa, but they ultimately worked through their challenges and landed third place in the Love Island live final.

Millie Court and Liam Reardon won the summer series, again after a rocky time in the villa. All four finalists were faced with some kind of challenge, with them all reuniting shortly after Casa Amor.

Only one couple stayed together throughout most of the series, Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish, until cracks started to show and they ultimately split days before the final.
