Lucinda Strafford has spoken of her shock after being mugged by a balaclava-wearing thief on a motorbike while she was walking to see Frozen The Musical.
The 22-year-old Love Island celebrity was left shaken by the incident, which took place on her way to the Theatre Royal on the West End in London, and said she thought it was “awful” that someone would carry out such a crime.
She revealed the traumatic night out experience later on an Instagram story, which she shared alongside a photograph of the stage at the Disney show.
In the post she explained to fans: “Not every day you walk to see Frozen the Musical and your phone gets snatched out of your hand by someone wearing a balaclava on a motorbike.”
“So awful there’s people out there like that. Make sure you hold your phones extra tight.”
Despite the attack Lucinda appeared to be in good spirits later in the evening, as she uploaded a photo of an Olaf snowman soft toy from the show.
She wrote: “In other news, this is the cutest thing ever (defo cheered me up anyway) and there’s worst things going on in the world.”
“For people asking, I didn’t get my phone back.”
A rep from Lucinda’s team said to MailOnline : “Lucinda was obviously very shaken after being robbed of her iPhone in Knightsbridge yesterday. She was was with her boyfriend looking at her phone when the attack occurred.
“It happened very quickly and she of course feels very sad about the situation.”
This summer it was revealed that a number of contestants on the 2021 series of Love Island already had their pockets full of cash ahead of their time in Spain.
Reports show that Lucinda had already carved out a successful online clothing business before she hit our screens.
According to Stars Offline, Lucinda’s impressive net worth is around £400,000, with much of this earned from her Instagram clothing boutique called Luxe Range.
