Love Island bombshell Mary Bedford has been turning heads ever since her arrival at Casa Amor, and it’s partly thanks to her gorgeous long blonde locks.
The 22-year-old model tried to keep it a secret that she was joining the villa and attempted to keep everyone in the dark, including her hair stylist.
The stunning blonde regularly gets her hair extensions done by Kayleigh Jane Extensions in Leeds, and Kayleigh realised something might be up when she saw Mary sooner than usual.
“I did her hair in April, as soon as I went back to work, and you can wear the extensions for quite a long time,” explained Kayleigh.
“She got in touch with me six weeks after saying she needed to do them again. I was like what, why? She made something up about going to LA to do loads of castings and stuff and mentioned bikini week.
“Mary was saying that she needed her hair to look the best that it’s ever looked,” added Kayleigh, so no pressure!
“When the Love Island dates came out I started wondering if that’s where she was off to the villa. I sent her a message like, ‘I’ve got this feeling you’re going to Love Island, please tell me it’s true!'” she laughed.
“This was when the series started, and she sent me a selfie from bed giving a peace sign saying ‘no, sorry babe’ but then she went into Casa Amor!

Kayleigh has been doing Mary’s hair for around 18 months, and she had 24″ blonde keratin bond extensions, in a mixture of two shades.
Fans have been praising Mary’s looks on the show.
“Mary is really giving the Molly not a hair out of place Mae vibes,” raved one, with heart emojis.
“Mary’s outfits, hair, makeup are always on point,” added another.
“Mary, I’m gonna need a hair tutorial as soon as you leave, thank you,” asked one viewer.
Kayleigh is proud of Mary’s skills with styling: “It’s so good because I know she really looks after her hair! Over the years there have been some really bad hair extensions, and some of the girls in the villa haven’t looked their best.”
“I know how good Mary is at caring for her hair and I’m good at what I do as well, so the mixture of the two means her hair looks really good all the time.”
Mary has been unlucky with love over the years, said Kayleigh: “She’s been messed about in the past. She dated Chris Hughes but that was made out to be much bigger than it was!”
“She always said she was happy and chilled being on her own, but it could be that she was trying to avoid talking about Love Island and maybe she is looking for love!” added Kayleigh.
“Mary’s genuinely a lovely girl, she deserves more airtime, but obviously it’s an hour out of 24 hours. They’ve got to get around everyone.
“I feel like now her true personality is being shown and stuff, which is lovely.”
The villa boys opted to save Mary previously, and now she is in the bottom three girls at risk of being dumped from the villa on Monday night.
Kayleigh hopes she stays, as she said: “She really deserves it, and I genuinely think she does like Dale. She wouldn’t pretend at something like that just to stay in.”
