Love Island's Mary Bedford 'plans to build herself as a brand' like Molly-Mae

It looks like Mary Bedford might have taken a leaf out of Molly-Mae Hague ‘s handbook as she strips her social media back and sets herself apart from the show.

Unlike most of the Love Island beauties, Mary has posted only two snaps on her Instagram which associates her with Love Island, though captions and stories did feature throughout the series.

Mary is seemingly keeping her Instagram down to her personal life only, with the classic selection of stunning snaps featured all throughout.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, PR expert Rochelle White believes Mary has a plan to build herself as a brand, rather than a Love Island girl, just like Molly-Mae.

Rochelle said: “I think that Mary has been quite strategic in her approach to social media while being on Love Island.

“Many contestants will have their accounts constantly updated with content while they’re in the show, but she hasn’t really, and it’s been kept more personal rather than branded – bar Love Island in her bio.

“I think she has a plan to build herself as a brand and not necessarily be linked to Love Island in the ways that many contestants do.”

She added: “Mary could either be working with an agent or management team who have advised the best way to go about it.

“Just from looking at her Instagram you can see the route she is potentially looking to go down. So it will be interesting to see what the next few months has in store for Mary.”

Although the islanders themselves aren’t able to post on their Instagram, they can give their friends and family who are looking after the account a bit of an idea.

Mary’s friend, who was watching her account for her, said that Mary has asked her to post a photo of her because “she looked so good”, which Mary’s pal chose to save until her final post on her account.

The blonde beauty appears to have carefully curated her social media presence and appearance, and it’s not going unnoticed – in fact, Molly-Mae herself recently complimented Mary on her stunning snap.

The decision to limit Love Island content could prove to be a good business move for Mary, with Molly-Mae’s plan to distance herself from the show ultimately landing her 6million Instagram followers, multi-million pound deals and the title of Creative Director at PrettyLittleThing.

Although she didn’t get quite as far as Molly-Mae in the show, it’s looking like it could be pure positivity and success in Mary’s future.
