Molly-Mae Hague was left feeling red-faced when she fell victim to an awkward selfie blunder whilst out playing a game of bowling with Tommy Fury and his family.
The 22-year-old former Love Island star, who met her boyfriend Tommy on the ITV match-making show, confessed she felt “instant regret” after the computer at the bowling alley asked her to take a selfie for the game.
However, what the YouTuber and influencer didn’t realise is that her snapshot selfie was to be plastered up on the big scoreboard for the entirety of three whole games.
In the exposed selfie snap, Molly could be seen smiling as she gave an awkward thumbs up to the camera – but she clearly never meant for the picture to be displayed on screen in front of Tommy’s family during three whole games of bowling.
Taking to social media to share her embarrassing story to her whopping 5.5million Instagram followers, Molly clearly saw the funny side of the photo failure as she revealed the hilarious snap for the world to see.
Cringing at the gaffe, she penned: “Instant regret when it asks you to take a selfie but you don’t realise it’s gonna be the background for the whole three games.”
She then added: “With Tommy’s fam.”
Molly-Mae had been out enjoying her evening with her beau Tommy as well as his brother John and Roman.
Her bad luck at the bowling comes not long after the star was slapped with a hefty parking fine on her brand new Range Rover as she finished a gruelling workout session.
She returned to her lush new car – a £32,000 custom Range Rover – to discover she had over run the meter by a mere five minutes.
Raging at the fine and posting a photo of the dreaded yellow ticket, she vented: “What a way to ruin my post class mood.
“Paid for a ticket but was five minutes too late back to car.”
A new driver, Molly-Mae only passed her driving test last month – back in May – and she had been over the moon to announce the achievement.
She wrote: “This is the happiest day of my life. I literally can’t believe it.”
Her boxing beau Tommy was apparently inspired to take to the wheel himself as earlier this week he was seen celebrating after passing his own driving test.
The smitten pair met on series five of Love Island in 2019 and their relationship has gone from strength to strength since being on the show.
The celebrity couple, who often share cute posts about each other on social media, have even sparked engagement rumours on multiple occasions, such as when Molly penned the word “forever” in a caption to an Instagram post last December whilst wearing a silver ring.
Molly fuelled engagement talks again in June this year when she called Tommy her “husband” during a TikTok video as part of a viral social media trend.
