Love Island fans who witnesses Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury land second place in the 2019 final were concerned that the happy couple were on the rocks after they appeared “distanced” in recent weeks.
Molly-Mae chose to host a mini question and answer session on her Instagram stories and as she was flooded with questions, she mentioned that many of them were about her and Tommy.
When one person asked if the couple were okay, Molly-Mae said: “Of course we are ok! Just because we don’t post a selfie together on stories for a few weeks doesn’t mean things are bad. We are both just so busy.
“He’s in training camp currently also which is super serious stuff. No date nights and messing around. We have really early nights and a very set routine that I also try and follow in order to support him. I love him so much. So proud of him.”
When one user sent another statement that read: “You and Tommy seem very distanced now!”, Molly-Mae responded saying: “So many of these!
“I can’t believe that people think if it’s not on social media, it’s not happening. Guys, Tommy and I are absolutely fine. Like, the best ever.”
Molly-Mae’s response will certainly please her fans, as the couple have now celebrated over two years together and have been discussing their engagement plans publicly.
The pair have been completely loved-up since they left the villa in 2019 and have gone from strength to strength in the years that followed.
Molly-Mae has made it clear on her profile that she has been away for work as she’s been in both Ibiza and Santorini across the past few weeks.
The beauty has made it clear that they are most certainly not on the rocks – although there is one rock that could be heading in their direction soon.
Just last month Molly-Mae hinted that wedding bells might not be too far off as she spilled the beans on trying on engagement rings with her beau.
In her YouTube video, she said: “I know Tommy and I know he won’t cut corners with this one, he just says to me that we just need to pick a ring.
“We did try on some rings, so that was fun. I haven’t chosen one but we were out shopping and we thought we would just try some on. It was really fun, it’s a whole new world to me. I have no idea about diamonds and picking a ring.”
Although a ring hasn’t been decided just yet, they’ve made it clear that a ring is on their minds – could another Love Island wedding be on the cards?
