Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen puts on glam display as she promotes new book

Our Yorkshire Farm beauty Amanda Owen looked stunning as she launched her new book.

Celebrating The Seasons With The Yorkshire Shepherdess: Farming, Family And Delicious Recipes To Share describes the Owen family’s trials and tribulations at Ravenseat farm, documenting the highs and lows of life on a remote rural farm in Yorkshire.

Comedian Ruby Wax originally tweeted a picture of herself and Amanda alongside the caption: “My favourite shepherdess Amanda Owen – She has 9 children and can still walk.”

TV personality Amanda captioned her reply: “Could wax lyrical about being invited to Cheltenham Festivals to talk about my new book but the highlight was meeting this funny & thoroughly lovely lady.”

She kept her makeup and hair minimal, opting for a very natural look and tousled locks.

Ruby sported a black dress with white striped detail, a necklace adorned with the Venus symbol and a short curly hairstyle.

Our Yorkshire Farm began in 2018 on Channel 5 and follows the lives of Amanda and Clive Owen and their nine children in one of the remotest parts of Yorkshire as they run Ravenseat farm.

The oldest Owen daughter, Raven, recently opened up about her desires to leave Ravenseat farm.

She currently studies at university whilst juggling her home and social lives in hopes to become a vet.

Raven, 20, admitted that one thing about being part of a big family is that “you don’t really have much peace, but then the best thing is there’s always somebody to talk to, practice doing people’s hair.

“It’s fun when you open up someone’s drawer and you get all the clothes out and then you style outfits on all of your siblings.

“I’ve had Reuben in a dress before and it’s been great!”

She studies veterinary at York St John’s but wants to go into labs and create vaccinations and Amanda recently told The Express: “I dropped her off at university and she’s talking about doing a masters degree, and working in labs on Covid vaccines.”
