England football legend Paul Gascoigne has been seen crawling through mud and gunge on the beach while filming Italian jungle show L’Isola dei Famosi–the Island of the Famous.
The former Tottenham star, 53, is taking part in the show, which has similarities to I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, and was seen getting stuck into one of the challenges with his fellow famous contestants on the show.
He seemed to be concentrating as he rummaged through what appeared to be guts and gunge as he crawled through a ditch surrounded by sand and treasure chests.
The former player and manager is currently filming on the island of Cayo Cochinos, off the coast of Honduras.

Gazza was all smiles as he hugged his teammates at the end of the task, seemingly enjoying himself while filming.
Paul began his time on the iconic show by being dropped out of a helicopter and having to swim to the deserted island.
He was speaking to the show’s host just moments before bravely launching himself out of the helicopter.

The star made it out safely and made his way to the sandy shore of the island ready to take part in the next challenge.
The winner of the series will receive receive €100,000, and Gascoigne has said he’s donating the prize to a charity founded in the honour of his nephew.
Gascoigne nephew, Jay Lennon Gascoigne, tragically died at the age of 22 after battling mental health demons.

The sports star told Italian magazine TV Sorrisi e Canzone: “If I win, I will give the prize money to a charity founded by my family in memory of my nephew.”
After her son’s death, Gascoigne’s sister, Anna Kerrigan, launched an appeal to raise £100,000 to help others with mental health problems.
As her brother began his adventure on the show, Anna said: “Really proud of my amazing brother.
“Winner all the way and to put the cherry on top of the cake if he wins he is giving the money to our Jay’s charity.
“Sleep tonight wor Paul as tomorrow you’re jumping out of a plane and surviving on an island with all your Geordie supporters wishing you well . . . love you little brother.”
