Piers Morgan has come out fighting for good pal Sharon Osbourne after she received death threats for standing up for him.
Former X Factor judge Sharon stood by Piers in the wake of his controversial Meghan Markle rant.
But Sharon has since come in for fierce criticism for standing by outspoken Piers since he left his role as a Good Morning Britain presenter following the fallout which ensued.
And some horrible Twitter trolls have even threatened to kill Sharon for sticking up for Piers.
In a Twitter post to his 7.9million followers, Piers rallied around 68-year-old Sharon and slammed: “This is true, and so disgusting
“The woke brigade are the new fascists. If you don’t agree with them, they want to kill you.”
Piers refused to apologise for his comments about the Duchess of Sussex and subsequently quit his job on the hit ITV show.
And the 55-year-old was left incensed when his close friend Sharon became a victim of such vile death threats.
The experienced broadcaster shared his caption alongside a TMZ report revealing that Sharon had been targeted by threatening trolls.
The story title read: “Sharon Osbourne Getting Death Threats Since ‘Talk’ Racism Dispute, Hires Security.”
The article claims that Sharon has hired private security to protect herself and her family.
The ex-America’s Got Talent judge has been at the centre of the storm ever she decided to defend Piers.
Speaking on US talk show The Talk last Wednesday, Sharon supported her long-time mate for speaking his mind about Meghan and her husband Prince Harry.
Sharon was involved in a heated row with co-presenter Sheryl Underwood when tackled on the controversial subject.
She stressed Pier was paid to speak his mind, he was not a racist and that she stood by him.
But the angry exchanges with her co-presenter have led to the CBS show being pulled until next week while an internal investigation takes place following the fallout.
And not it has been alleged that outspoken Sharon will not return to the show after her remarks.
Sharon’s week had gone from bad-to-worse when US journalist Yashar Ali reported allegations that Sharon made racist remarks about co-host Julie Chen.
