Ex-Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan looked to be in an awkward situation after he was pictured sitting straight behind his old ITV boss, Kebin Lygo.
The 56-year-old could be seen in the snap smiling while on his phone, with his former chief in command sitting directly in front of him as they watched the cricket in the same box.
Earlier on in the year, Kevin who is the Director of Television at ITV, agreed to let Piers leave GMB after he’d said he didn’t believe Meghan Markle in the bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The pair were seated to watch England play India at the Kia Oval – amid reports that the broadcasting giant are trying to get Piers back on the programme.

In the pictures, Piers and Kevin didn’t appear to be engaging in conversation but given their close proximity it would have been tough for the pair not to speak at all.
The snaps land just days after it was announced that the media regulator Ofcom had cleared Piers following his comments about Meghan after the March interview – even though the Duchess herself had filed her own grievances.
Piers racked up 57,793 complaints to the Watchdog which was a record breaking number.

It comes just days after Ofcom cleared Piers and GMB over his comments about Meghan on air, despite a record-breaking number of complaints.
According to the report conducted by the regulator the breakfast programme had not breached any rules where the broadcasting code had been concerned.
An Ofcom spokesperson said: “This was a finely-balanced decision.

“Mr Morgan’s comments were potentially harmful and offensive to viewers, and we recognise the strong public reaction to them. But we also took full account of freedom of expression.
“Under our rules, broadcasters can include controversial opinions as part of legitimate debate in the public interest, and the strong challenge to Mr Morgan from other contributors provided important context for viewers.
“Nonetheless, we’ve reminded ITV to take greater care around content discussing mental health and suicide in future.
“ITV might consider the use of timely warnings or signposting of support services to ensure viewers are properly protected.”
Soon after the final verdict landed, Piers took to Twitter to share his glee.
The Life Stories star wrote: “BREAKING: @Ofcom rejects all complaints against me over Meghan Markle furore that led to my exit from @GMB .
“Verdict says I was entitled to disbelieve her & Prince Harry & to restrict my right to do so would be a ‘chilling restriction on freedom of expression.'”
