Dame Joan Collins shit down Piers Morgan on his Life Stories show after he probed her on her thoughts about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The 88-year-old appeared on the tell-all programme as she celebrates 70 years in the world of showbiz.
During the honest discussion with the former Good Morning Britain anchorman, Joan’s relationship with the Princess of Wales was brought up.
The conversation soon turned to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle but it was apparent from the offset that the dame was not going to entertain such a chat.
She told Piers: “I really don’t want to come on here to talk about Harry and Meghan.
“I mean look what happened to you.”
Taking the hint, Piers decided to divert the interview to Joan’s life.
Earlier this year, the GMB anchorman found himself in a heated spat live on air with weatherman Alex Beresford.
The meteorologist had taken a disliking to Piers’ views after he’d watched the bombshell interview between Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey and stated he didn’t believe the Duchess of Sussex.
It turned tense with the pair sharing opposing opinions, when Piers stood up and said: “I’m not listening to this anymore, sorry,” before storming off set.
At that point, nobody knew it would be Piers’ last ever appearance on the ITV breakfast show.
ITV released a statement that evening outlining that he would no longer be part of the show.
A spokesperson said: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.
“ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”
In Piers’ column for the Daily Mail, he later revealed that he had been asked to apologise by the network.
But the TV star was adamant he would not say sorry for having “an opinion” while spouting freedom of speech.
