Piers Morgan stokes I'm A Celeb 2021 rumours as he shares cryptic 'new TV gig' snap

Piers Morgan doesn’t look like he’ll be denying his part in the rumoured 2021 I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here line-up any time soon.

The air surrounding the ex-Good Morning Britain host has been rife with speculation about what his next major TV move will be, with many fans crossing their fingers that Piers could soon be heading to Wales for the reality show.

And Piers certainly isn’t doing much to discourage the rumours, as he recently posted a cryptic snap to his Instagram and Twitter pages.

The controversial broadcaster took a snap of the cover of Woman Magazine, which included a snap of Piers superimposed with a typical jungle cowboy hat on his head.

The headline read “Piers’ new TV gig”, accompanied by the words: “ITV’s latest recruit?”

Piers drew a huge arrow to the section, and added the caption: “It’s official – I’m the new Crocodile Dundee.”

And fans are now convinced it’s a definite tease of his potential upcoming I’m A Celeb stint.

One quickly commented: “Please tell me you are on I’m A Celebrity? I will actually watch it if you are haha!”

“We desperately need you back on the telly!” another fan begged.

Someone else posted: “If Piers goes into the Jungle, send in with him Harry, Meghan, Oprah and Alex the weatherman… that would be fun!”

“Oh my word really really hope you are going to be on I’m A Celebrity!” a fourth fan echoed.

Bookies currently have Piers at 8/1 odds of appearing on the show.

Alex Apati, of betting firm Ladbrokes, said: “Piers Morgan has become something of a stranger to our screens these days.

“But the odds suggest that could all change in the next few months, with an I’m a Celeb stint potentially on the cards.”

And according to a poll conducted by The Mirror, Piers is the most wanted celeb to partake in some gruelling Bushtucker Trials.

A respectable 43% of respondents want to see the 56-year-old pushed to his limits in Wales.

But, despite the recent glimmer of hope, Piers has had some choice words for those still hopeful, as he previously wrote in his Daily Mail column: “Let me make one thing crystal clear: there’s no way I’m ever exposing myself to a series of ghastly gastronomic humiliations for the delectation of the British public.

“When I munch kangaroo testicles, I do so in the privacy of my own home.”

But could Piers have changed his mind? We’re waiting with bated breath…
