Piers Morgan’s wife has sided with the no-nonsense TV presenter and journalist’s views on Meghan Markle.
Following Piers’ rant about Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey that led to his Good Morning Britain exit, his wife Celia Walden has branded the Duchess of Sussex’s behaviour “impudent and vulgar”.
Celia Walden, 45, has admitted that although she didn’t agree with her husband’s decision to walk off the Good Morning Britain set following his outburst and rant over the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in the spring, she is now becoming more of a royalist herself.
She revealed that her views towards the royals are becoming more and more like the former GMB host, who happens to be her husband, as she defended the Queen, dubbing her “amazing”, while slamming the Duchess of Sussex in a new interview with The Telegraph.

She expressed how she believes that Meghan has acted in a “crass” way towards the Queen and the British Royal Family.
She said: “The Queen’s just been so amazing recently.
“And to have this impudent girl [Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex] behave in such a crass and vulgar way…”
Celia, who is an author and journalist, also revealed that Piers had asked her to read over an apology that ITV bosses at GMB had drafted for him to sign, following his raging rant about the royal couple, which prompted a record number of Ofcom complaints.

She explained: “He never asks me to do stuff like that normally, so I was quite flattered.”
The fellow journalist told her husband Piers, that he shouldn’t sign the apology in the way that the management had worded it.
She said: “However, what he said about that interview being full of inconsistencies and untruths has been proved right in so many ways.”

Celia also revealed that she thinks that American citizens are siding with Piers’ point of view on the former royals, following Meghan and Harry detaching themselves from royal life, and also the couple’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
She claimed in an interview with The Telegraph: “You can pick up a lot from the chat in the nail salons, and my sources there tell me Harry and Meghan have lost the nail salons.”
