Piers Morgan’s motormouth missus is mauling Madonna for stripping to her undies, urging the pop icon to act her age.
Catty Celia Walden, 45 – who is rapidly filling her 56-year-old husband’s gobster shoes after he stropped off Good Morning Britain – said she refused to join the social media rapture that greeted a raunchy slideshow Madge shared online this week.
Journalist Celia sneered: “‘As a woman’ I’m supposed to toe the party line and champion the 62-year-old for posting pictures of herself in bondage gear and a motorcycle cap, legs akimbo.
“I’m not going to say any of those things. Because, passing embarrassment aside, all I really feel is weary – and a little despondent that people are still buying into this uniquely narcissistic, self-promoting so-called brand of feminism.
“As one instantly-shouted down fan said on Twitter: ‘Act your age, not your shoe size’,” she added in her Telegraph column.
Seven-time Grammy winner Madge flaunted her cleavage and stripped down to her lace lingerie in a series of sultry snaps.
The 62-year-old wore a motorcycle cap and smoky eyeshadow as she pouted, angling the camera down to show off her toned figure and boobs.
She also wore a daring black bra leaving little to the imagination and captioned the trio of smouldering snaps: “And now for a moment of self-reflection… Madame X.”
Fans flooded the comments section to heap praise on the singer.
One fan asked: “How can this even be possible?”
“Best artist to ever walk the ground”, complimented another.
A third said: “Yes girl this is how it’s done.”
A fourth said: “You’re so stunning.”
Madame X is Madonna’s adopted persona and the name of her most recent studio album from two years ago.
The global icon had been due to tour her new album but the coronavirus pandemic postponed any planned live gigs.
Recently the Queen of Pop was hit with controversy after she was accused of photoshopping her head on to a TikTok star’s body.
Amelia Goldie told Buzzfeed that Madonna edited her own face onto a picture of the 28-year-old sitting with her legs crossed.
Amelia said she originally thought the whole thing was a joke until she released that the picture was posted to Madonna’s official Instagram account.
