Lauren Goodger has announced that she wants three children and is keen to have a baby boy next.
This comes as the TOWIE star, 34, is expecting her first baby with Charles Drury, 23, after announcing the big news back in January this year.
Appearing on the Hot Mess Mums Club podcast, the soon-to-be mum opened up about her exciting pregnancy journey and future family plans.
Speaking to hosts Jenny Powell and Kelly Pegg, Lauren said she is considering having more children later in life, and is optimistic about having three children by the time she is 40 years old.
Lauren said: “I’m 34 and I’m having my first, so you know, but depending on life and situations and whatever happens, I would like to have probably 3 kids.
“So by the time this one’s here I will just be turning 35, so I could be 40 when I have my last. But yeah it’s a completely different generation… Now we do more things, we wanna have adventure and we wanna work, so women do have kids later.”
The mum is delighted to be welcoming her baby girl next month, but the reality star is also hoping she can give her daughter a younger brother in the future.
Lauren continued: “Now I’m having a girl I want a boy next, so let’s see.
“I’ve got nieces and nephews and I’m godmother to three children, so I know what they are like. The boys are lovely and cuddly to their mums and they are so loving and then the girls are really calm and stuff, like the boys will run around like lunatics and then the girls will sit up with the women looking all nice. But yeah, I do want one of each hopefully.”
However, ITV celeb Lauren previously revealed she hasn’t spoken to her own mum, Cheryl, since coming out with her baby news, with the TOWIE star explaining it was a “shame” her mum hasn’t reached out to her.
Lauren’s mum gave her up to her dad at the age of four, but kept two of her siblings.
Her mum has revealed in a previous interview that she was struggling with depression after giving birth to Lauren and this caused her to “reject” her.
Lauren and Charles, who is Katie Price’s ex, have been going strong since they moved into Lauren’s Essex home just weeks after they met.
The happy couple regularly feature in each other’s loved-up Instagram posts and became romantically linked back in October 2020.
