Princess of Pop Britney Spears has found love with her former backing dancer

Britney Spears has found love with her former backing dancer and actor boyfriend Sam Ashgari.

The former Princess of Pop is once again headline news following the release of an acclaimed documentary about her life called ‘Framing Britney Spears’.

Made by the New York Times, the headline-making documentary examines Spears’ attempt to remove her father from involvement in her affairs and questions a controversial conservatorship held over the pop star.

The gripping programme is a must-watch as it reflects on the pop icon’s amazing fall from grace following a mental breakdown and her groundbreaking comeback.

But away from the bright lights the troubled star has found happiness with boyfriend Ashgari.

The pair first met on the set of her ‘Slumber Party music video back in 2016.

They began dating a year later and have been together ever since as Spears, who released two of the best-selling albums of all time – Baby One More Time and Oops!…I Did It Again – looks to have finally found welcome joy in her life.

Sam is now an actor on the US crime show ‘The Family Business’ and also runs his own fitness business aptly-titled asgharifitness.com, where the 27-year-old offers “positive changes in your life” through personalised workout and meal plans.

His Instagram feed includes lots of loving photos of him and Britney together – and he affectionately refers to her as his “lioness”.

Their relationship has grown from strength to strength and the pair often share adorable snaps together on social media.

Last month Britney, who has 28.1million Instagram followers, joked on her account that her and Sam were releasing an album together. The post received over half a million likes.

And in an interview with celebrity website People, Sam revealed: “I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world.

“I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves.

“I am looking forward to a normal and amazing future together.”

Spears celebrated her 39th birthday in December and the Mississippi-born singer posted a playful Instagram video using a cat filter.

In it she sings happy birthday to herself before Sam jokes: “Okay baby, we get it. It’s your birthday, we’ve been celebrating for a month.”

Away from their social-media shows of affection, a campaign by fans #FreeBritney campaign has gathered steam following the release of the documentary.

It comes as Sam recently couldn’t help but hit out against Britney’s father Jamie.

Britney’s father Jamie Spears has been her legal conservator since 2008, controlling her finances and has the final say on many of her important personal life decisions.

“Now it’s important for people to understand that I have zero respect for someone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles our way,” Sam wrote.

“In my opinion Jamie is a total d***.”

He added: “I won’t be going into details because I’ve always respected our privacy but at the same time I didn’t come to this country to not be able to express my opinion and freedom.”
