Stephanie Davis 'not well at all' as she updates fans on Covid fight in hospital

Former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis is still in a bad way after she was rushed to hospital with Covid-19.

The 28-year-old brunette bombshell, who portrayed Sinead O’Connor in the popular Channel 4 soap, has revealed that she is still in a lot of pain after being admitted into hospital on Thursday night.

Her update comes days after she was rushed to the hospital with Covid-19 symptoms after testing positive for the virus.

The Celebrity Big Brother star, who had also attended a wedding just days ago, was struggling to speak as she shared a update from her hospital bed on Saturday.

Speaking to her 980,000 Instagram followers, she thanked fans for their messages as she provided an honest update on her current condition.

The star, who was a runner-up on the seventeenth series of Celebrity Big Brother, told her fans and followers that the pain in her chest was “almost unbearable” despite having taken a lot of morphine.

In a series of videos posted on her Instagram stories, the mother-of-one sounded dazed as she updated everybody.

Stephanie told fans and followers “I woke up so ill and had to call an ambulance” in her first update

“Hi everyone, just want to say, thanks for the messages. There’s been loads and obviously, I’ve been feeling too s*** to reply,” Stephanie told her fans.

She went on: “I’ve not been well at all. I’ve just had some morphine in an intravenous drip and that’s really helped with the pain. I don’t even know whether this is like, what… I’ve been getting severe pains in my oesophagus in my chest. They say it’s indigestion but it’s not indigestion because I can’t eat anything, I’ve not eaten anything.

“Even when I have a sip of water the pain is unreal. I don’t know if it’s related or what the frig is going on.”

Stephanie, who was at a wedding on Tuesday, was rushed to hospital on Thursday night after testing positive for Covid-19.

She continued: “I’m feeling very spaced out on the morphine anything so I’m going to go back to sleep, but… the pain on my skin… I couldn’t touch my skin and I can’t even think straight.

“I just don’t know what is going on with the pain in my chest. I’m guessing it’s all linked because I’ve only just had this since all of this.

“The pain is just killing me… my chest is so bad. Just on some fluids now because I’m dehydrated. I’m alright, I’ll keep yous posted.”

A spokesperson for the actor and reality star confirmed that the beauty has been put on a nebuliser to help with her breathing as she is “at risk because of her underlying asthma”.

They also revealed that Stephanie had not yet been vaccinated due to her having asthma, allergies and anaphylaxis.

Stephanie Davis made her on-screen debut in Hollyoaks on September 1, 2010, before being fired from the job in 2015 due to being “unfit for work” on set. But in May 2018, she returned to the soap.

The Hollyoaks actress also gained fame on the seventeenth series of Celebrity Big Brother, where she was involved in an on-screen romance and placed as a runner-up.
