The Chase Celebrity certainly brought a degree of heat as things turned racy between Anne Hegerty and comedian Dane Baptiste.
Things turned steamy as rugby world cup referee Nigel Owen’s stepped up to play Ann.
She told him: “I was no good as a rugby referee.
“I sent two players off for an early bath and then I went to join them. It was a good day.”
The flirtatious banter carried on, when Nigel turned to his team mate Dane to ask which amount he should play for.
Dane said: “I feel like seen as you and The Governess have both played rugby stick with what you’re comfortable with because you are a fly half of this team and you don’t want to be mislead by a hooker.”
The entire studio erupted into fits of giggles and Dane quickly backtracked adding: “Those are all recognised rugby terms.”
Responding, Ann said: “You’re a marked man.”
The jibes between the pair just kept coming throughout the game.
As soon as Dane stepped up to the podium – when contemplating his own offer – he caused host Bradely Walsh to raise an eyebrow.
The comedian began: “As seductive as The Governess is…”
“What!!?” interjected the TV presenter.
Hitting back, Dane gushed: “You’ve seen the sequins Bradley,” which caused Ann to look down at her glitzy shirt.
He then added: “I’m going to go for £8,000.”
Dane did manage to make it back home safely with the middle offer.
Team mates journalist Nigel Owen and Countryfile presenter Anita Rani.
There was £120,000 up for grabs and after a tense round the team managed to conquer the mighty chaser.
Bradley explained: “That’s one of the biggest wins ever, well done.”
