Where is Love Island's Emma Jane Woodhams now – five years after villa hookup

The new series of Love Island brings a brand new batch of hopeful young singles on the hunt for love as well as the nation’s attention.

However, there have been plenty of previous contestants in the villa before them.

An OG Islander, from one of the first ever series in 2016, is Emma Jane Woodham.

Emma and Terry Walsh filmed in the act may have been the most shocking moment in Love Island history as they were the first ever couple to be caught on camera going all the way – not under the covers.

The pair’s full-frontal sex scenes were shown on air and led to many Ofcom complaints.

The young couple thought ITV would not be allowed to show their steamy scene.

The scene was cleared by Ofcom of breaching broadcast rules and Emma later warned future villa residents to not copy her actions, telling new! magazine: “There’s not a day goes by that I don’t wish I hadn’t done that.”

Five years after her time in the villa, Emma has a child with her childhood sweetheart, Jordan Bye.

In 2019, Emma gave birth to her son after a “savage 52 hour labour”.

Alfie’s dad, Jordan, may not be her partner but Emma is a proud single mum to her three-year-old.

Her romance with Terry ended about six months after they left Love Island.

Since leaving, Emma has maintained her social media following and works as a fashion and beauty influencer.

She most recently released her own range of false eyelashes, as part of a collaboration with beauty brand Sean Maloney.

At the start of 2021, Emma shared that her main goal now is to focus on herself.

On Instagram she wrote: “Positive thinking, cutting off dead weight and putting myself first (second to Alf of course)”.
