Alan Carr makes sarcastic swipe as he talks 'marriage breakdown' on The One Show

Alan Carr sarcastically swiped at host Alex Jones as he opened up about his “marriage breakdown” on The One Show.

Back in January, Alan and ex-husband Paul Drayton announced that they were parting ways after 13 years of marriage.

Host Alex hadn’t meant to touch on his recent divorce as she quizzed the comedian about his plans across the pond in the US.

Speaking about his adventure and the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK tour, Alan explained: “And I’m really pleased with the tour and obviously before lockdown it was all written.

“But then Boris Johnson happened and we all went into Covid.”

He added: “But what’s happened is my marriage has broken down and i’m going through a divorce at the minute.”

Host Alex Jones interjected: “Sorry, sorry to hear that.”

Making a sarcastic quip, Alan chirped back: “No it’s alright, thanks for the flowers.”

Speaking to camera, Alan followed up with: “Nothing, nothing.”

Alex’s co-star Jermaine Jenas was lost for words as he placed his head in his lap and began to giggle away.

At which point Alan erupted into fits of laughter too.

Meanwhile, later on in the programme there was more chaos to follow in the BBC studio as Camila Cabello appeared on the programme via video link and accidentally flashed.

The Señorita hitmaker left everyone gasping as she took to her feet to show off her favourite dance moves wearing an incredibly flimsy top.

As she readied herself to showcase the routine, she flicked her hair and somehow revealed her bare breast as the top slipped to one side.

Returning to camera, Camilla asked: “I hope you didn’t see nipple?”

Alex told her: “Erm, well you know what there was a bit of a wardrobe malfunction, I don’t know what I saw but there was a flash of something.”

Funnyman Alan made light of the situation, adding: “Cyber flashing. You’ve just done an item on it, what are the chances.”

The One Show continues weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
