Married At First Sight UK is back as a fresh batch of singletons hope to find love by trading a first date for walking down the aisle.
Last year saw drama, heartache, frustration and lust, with many couples failing the social experiment by dumping their partner after meeting for the first time at the altar.
In last year’s series, Luke Dawson and Morag Critchon said “I do” during their first meeting, but have the couple managed to stay together a year on from their wedding day?

Are Luke and Morag still together?
Luke and Morag tied the knot in the 2021 series of Married At First Sight UK and the rocky relationship definitely took viewers on a ride.

Morag brutally told Luke she didn’t fancy him, which resulted in the couple going their separate ways shortly after they said “I do” at the last commitment ceremony.
The veterinary nurse told the camera: “He wouldn’t be my typical guy I would go for so I’m not exactly jumping for joy.
“When I first saw him, I was taken aback.”
Since their time on the show, Morag has slammed Luke as he ‘hadn’t called her’ since the show ended, with Luke responding to the claims stating that at the time of filming, he was trying to force something that wasn’t there.
He later added on the show’s reunion episode that he never loved Morag, telling the MAFS experts: “I can’t change. I am who I am.
“I feel these things. I’m over it. I just feel used.”
Morag was then asked by her fellow contestants: “Why wasn’t the old Luke good enough for you?”
She responded: “OK, cool. I’ll be honest with you, when I met the old Luke, the Luke 1.0, I felt that Luke was still on a journey.
“You were still on a journey of self-love, knowing who you was…I felt that. I picked up on that. It was hard for me to see you like that and struggling.”

Luke and Morag failed to rekindle things after their break up on the show, with both of the contestants going back to their regular lives without each other.
Morag returned to her role as a veterinary nurse, telling her Instagram followers in a post alongside a chihuahua: “So glad to be back doing what I love with my paw-fect man! “#vetnurse#veterinary#veterinarynurse#vets#chihuahua#figs.”
The MAFS contestant spent some time travelling around the UK following the end of the series, sharing images of her time in the Lake District with her Instagram followers.
She has also recently set up an OnlyFans account to pay her bills.
Meanwhile, Luke has also gone back to his day job as a firefighter after filming for MAFS wrapped last year, regularly sharing pictures in his gear on social media.

Luke has also gone on to have a second hair transplant since his time on the show, stating in an Instagram post that the procedure was done “all in the risk of bettering myself”.
He also hinted in the post, which was made on New Years Eve 2021, that while he is yet to meet his soulmate, he is “not mad or upset at anyone” which seems to refer to his ‘marriage’ to Morag.
Both parties are still single following their time on MAFS, with Luke recently telling his Instagram followers that looking for love is “at the top of my list”.
The latest series of Married At First Sight UK will continue on Sunday, September 4 at 9pm on E4 and All 4.
