The Great Celebrity Bake Off star Caroline Quentin told Noel Fielding to “shut up” during tonight’s episode (May 10).
During the special episode, that is for Stand Up To Cancer, the celebrities were tasked with making an orange and black Battenberg cake.
The 61-year-old actress firmly read out the specific instructions: “Spoon the orange mixture into one side of the tin and the black mixture into the other side.”
As Noel walked past the Men Behaving Badly actress, he observed her baking and found the perfect opportunity to have a little joke.
He quipped: “Why are you putting black in there?”

The Blue Murder quickly responded: “Because we have to! It’s going to be a black and orange Battenburg.”
The comedian joked: “I think you put too much in there.”
Caroline, immediately hit back and jokingly said to the Great British Bake Off presenter “Oh shut up, you’re really unhelpful, you’re so unhelpful.”
Noel, who could barely contain his laughter, made the point “no one said I was here to help.”

Caroline appeared on the baking show alongside TV personality Tan France, comedian Joel Dommett and former professional tennis player Johanna Konta.
While they were baking, Sandi Toksvig challenged Joel, 36, to a quick tennis game as they played across the room.
Sandi, 64, was met with cheers from the room as she miraculously beat Joel as she quipped: “That was the finest sporting moment of my life.

“It was also the only sporting moment of my life.”
Queer Eye’s Tan France couldn’t believe his eyes as he screamed: “How did she beat you?”
At the end of the episode, Noel found time to fit in one more joke while revealing the winner.
He said: “The winner is, it’s Joel,” before quickly retracting his statement and saying “No it’s not, it’s Tan.”
The fashion expert couldn’t believe his win as he squealed: “It means so much to me, I love this show, it’s literally my favourite show.”
