Bradley Walsh was left red-faced on a Valentine’s Day special of The Chase after a chocolatier brought the host a flirty gift to celebrate the romantic holiday.
As four new contestants lined up to face chaser Anne Hegerty – aka The Governess – on the love-themed episode, Bradley Walsh found himself the object of one contestant’s affections as she offered him a sweet gift made just for him.
As chocolatier Chris, 61, took to the stage for her cash builder round, the Horwich native began teasing Brad with details of her delightful occupation as a chocolate maker, explaining that she makes delicious treats from home.

Impressed by her profession, Chris replied by telling the host that she’d made some special chocolates and brought them to the set for him to enjoy.
“Oooh hello,” said Bradley upon learning of her profession.
“I did bring some for you to get a taste of,” gushed Chris, as a flattered Bradley replied: “Did you just say you brought some in just for me?”

“I did,” said Chris, shooting blushing Bradley a massive smile.
“See that’s what you call a proper contestant, replied Brad, before joking: “You’re through congratulations!”
Fans oozed with excitement for Bradley and his new admirer, taking to Twitter to comment on the flirty exchange.
“Does Chris know Bradley Walsh is married?” and a second adding: “Think Chris has a crush on Bradders.”

Chris joined three other contestants all suited to the love theme on the ITV quiz, including a heart doctor, a florist and a contestant called Valentine who was born on Valentine’s Day.
“Loving the valentines theme running through the contestants today on #thechase,” said one viewer. Another gushed: “Loving the valentines connection tonight with Valentine, a chocolatier, cardiologist and a florist,” while a third joked: “Would you Adam n Eve it, there’s only a guy called Valentine on the chase.”
Some people weren’t happy though. One complained: “Have they really done a Valentine’s Day-themed episode? F******* hell. Way to shove it down us singletons throats.”

Chris went on to join Valentine as the only two contestant in the final chase after florist Victoria and heart doctor Wasim were eliminated in their first stand-off with The Governess.
Despite a valiant effort with 18 correct answers, success was not in the air as the pair were thwarted by chaser Anne, who deprived the twosome of their £12k prize pot.
Bradley, 61, thanked admirer Chris for her gift again at the end of the episode, gushing: “And thank you again for the chocolates that’s what every contestant should do. Or bring money.”
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm
