Cameron Diaz has claimed she was once used to smuggle drugs without her knowledge.
The actress, 49, rose to fame after starring alongside Jim Carrey in the 1994 Hollywood comedy The Mask.
Before taking up acting, the former Charlie’s Angels star worked successfully as a catalogue model in the US but struggled to advance her modelling career after moving to Paris, France.

Speaking recently, Cameron revealed that the “one job” she did land in Paris ended up with her suitcase being confiscated by Moroccan airport security.
The mum-of-one explained how she was given a “locked suitcase” and instructed to fly to Morocco on a ‘modelling assignment’ just weeks before auditioning for The Mask.
Of her experience in Paris, Cameron told the Second Life podcast: “I didn’t work a day.
“I was there a full year and I didn’t work one day. I couldn’t book a job to save my life.
“I got like one job but really I think I was like a mule carrying drugs to Morocco – I swear to God.”
Cameron later explained that she was asked to open the suitcase – said to be containing her “costumes” – at the airport in Morocco, which is when she first suspected that she had unwittingly agreed to act as a drug mule.
She added: “This was the early Nineties and they gave me a locked suitcase that had my ‘costumes’ in it.
“What the f**k is in that suitcase?
“I’m like this blonde-haired blue-eyed girl in Morocco, it’s the nineties, I’m wearing torn jeans and platform boots and my hair down. I’m like … ‘this is really unsafe’.”
Cameron’s confession follows the actress recently leaving acting retirement after eight years.
Last month, Cameron confirmed she would star alongside Jamie Foxx in a forthcoming Netflix film titled Back in Action.
For her last role, the Bad Teacher star played Miss Hannigan in the 2014 remake of Annie.
