Carol Vorderman left Beat the Chasers fans speechless as she unveiled her “ageless” looks for a special celebrity version of the ITV quiz show.
Looking stunning as ever in an ankle-length red dress which showed off her hourglass figure, Carol’s dress looked to be made entirely of lace as she strutted her stuff on-set in a set of matching scarlet heels.
Fans simply couldn’t believe how amazing 61-year-old Carol looked, and flocked to Twitter in their droves to comment: “Wowwzaaa Carol Vorderman is serving hourglass realness on #BeatTheChasers! Hope I look that good at 61 YEARS OLD!”
Another posted: “Carol Vorderman – 61 years old with the body of someone half that age.”
“She came so close… and she broke Twitter in the process. Carol blooming Vorderman, ladies and gentleman!” someone else joked.
As a fourth fan cheekily posted: “Carol Vorderman is a year older than my mother, you need to up your game mum!”
Another social media user posted: “When I’m 60 I would like an a*** like Carol Vorderman please!”
Though Carol played a blinder in the cashbuilder round, getting five out of six questions correct, she failed by a whisker to win £20,000 for her chosen charity, The Cleft Lip and Palate Association.
It was a surprise, however, as presenter Bradley Walsh hinted at her near-genius-level IQ.
Introducing his “old friend” Carol, Bradley told her: “Your IQ is as high, if not higher, than those up there!”, gesturing to the six gathered chasers.
Carol responded: “Is it? No pressure then, Carol!”
Carol’s true IQ is 154 – just six points lower than recognised genius Stephen Hawking, whose IQ was recorded at 160.
That makes Carol a ‘gifted individual’ – those with IQs over 130 – while the average adult’s IQ is around 100.
And, as a graduate of the prestigious Cambridge University and with her famous maths brain, it isn’t surprising Carol is a cut above the rest when it comes to IQ tests.
Announcing her appearance on Instagram, Carol added a series of sultry snaps of her in her stunning dress, writing: “On Beat The Chasers tonight @itv 9pm.
“Even though we recorded it a long long time ago it was lovely to meet @drzoewilliams… hello missus!
“And to be with my old muckers @markthebeastlabbett and @bradderswalsh…”
“Hope you enjoy it! Sending all good thoughts.”
