Celebrity Gogglebox's KSI and S-X not returning to Channel 4 show for next series

KSI and S-X will not be appearing on the upcoming series of Celebrity Gogglebox, Daily Star can reveal.

The music stars, who delighted fans with their quick wit and humour, have taken a back seat on the show as they prepare to focus solely on their music career.

S-X and pal KSI first appeared on the show in 2020 alongside names including Denise van Outen, Martin and Roman Kemp and Happy Mondays stars Bez and Shaun Ryder.

However, sources close to the pair have informed the Daily Star that while they have stepped back this season, they have not ruled out a return in the future.

Discussing his time on the programme, S-X told us: “[Filming] is long but honestly, it’s so fun so it just feels like a breeze.

“I miss it, to be honest, just sitting there watching shows being able to feel like no one’s watching even though there’s clearly cameras right in front.”

The 29-year-old added: “It’s just watching shows but you know you’ve got to react but I love it, I never thought I would enjoy doing that so much, just sitting there watching TV.

“It makes so much sense, why is that not the biggest show in the world?!”

While S-X is known for producing some of the biggest hits for Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and pal KSI but he is now stepping out on his own.

Having teamed up with US rapper Trippie Redd for their single All Night, the Wolverhampton, West Mids born star said: “I actually wrote the song back in 2019 with Rico Love who has written for Beyoncé.

“It was kind of made in America and stayed in America because we left it for a few years, I didn’t want to force anything with it.

“With it being for my debut album and it being such a special song, it was like, ‘Who can we get on it?’

“Trippie was always the main one I wanted. We actually sent it to him last funnily enough but then he just jumped on it and it happened, I guess it was meant to be.”

Ahead of his debut album being released later this year, he explained that there will be collaborations with more artists but refused to name drop.

“I feel like I’ve matured and just became the artist that I’ve been trying to edge my way into, so there’s definitely more collaborations, with different sounds and vibes, I’m not name-dropping anything,” he explained.

Channel 4 has been approached for comment.
