Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has hit out at TikTok star Max Balegde after he claimed a “prominent UK couple” are faking their relationship in a new podcast.
Max, who has 3million followers on the app, claimed that he knows a “prominent UK couple” are allegedly faking their relationship and provided a crude remark made by someone in the relationship – which listeners believe is about Davide Sanclimenti.
“There’s one couple specifically that’s very prominent in the UK media right now that I maybe happen to know is definitely not real,” he told The Useless Hotline podcast listeners, without naming the Love Island stars.

Max continued: “I met the person who’s in it and they were quite nice to me but they definitely said something that indicated that they are 100% not in a relationship with said person.

“When you meet someone and within the first hour they say to you, ‘Find me a small brunette with a tight p**** that I can throw around’, but you know that they’re supposedly in a very public relationship,” he added.
Max went on: “Then when I met this person with the long hair and the boobs, they were really lovely and I felt for whatever reason pressured to say that their partner had been saying really nice things about them when they didn’t actually mention them at all.

“Ever since then I really clocked onto it because I was like if you go for a run and paparazzi are suddenly there, that’s staged,” he concluded.
Shortly after the clip from the podcast went viral, Ekin-Su tweeted a message directed at Max, saying: “Oh f*** off Max. Trying to stay relevant by associating with us. Don’t even know who you are mate. P*** off with your TikTok sad life.”
The tweet was quickly deleted but fans managed to get a screenshot, sparking debate that Max had been speaking about Ekin-Su and Davide, as he never actually named them.

The pair have been in the public eye since winning the show, having starred in their own ITV2 travel show together, while Ekin-Su is due to make her Dancing on Ice debut in January.
One fan speculated: “He didn’t even mention her name but she got so vexed. Love you Ekin-Su but you set yourself up.”
Another chimed in: “The fact Max didn’t mention any names and Ekin-Su got so defensive says a lot.”
