But as fans tuned in to watch the second instalment of the new quiz show – which debuted on the Bank Holiday Monday (August 29) – viewers couldn’t help but share their surprise at the broadcaster’s latest outfit choice.
The raven-haired beauty, 44, presented the show in an oversized lilac blazer, which she layered over a deep burgundy crew-neck T-shirt which she tucked into a matching pair of lilac suit shorts.
She styled the outfit with a pair of burgundy socks and complimentary brown leather Oxford shoes as she opened with the first round of quick-fire questions.
Anita finished the look with a full face of glamorous makeup including glowing skin which complimented her soft brown eyeshadow and thin band of graphic eyeliner that she finished off with lashings of black mascara.
The starlet added a pinch of blush to her cheeks and completed her look with a swipe of pink mauve lipstick which popped against her sleek straightened locks which had been shaped into a crisp bob.
As she presented the gripping TV show, fans soon flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the bold outfit, which many pointed out matched the colours of the studio.
One user penned: “Love Anita’s outfit! #FastestFingerFirst” as another gushed: #FastestFingerFirst Anita Rani is gorgeous.”
A third pointed out: “@itsanitarani’s outfit blends with the studio and I like it. Love Anita’s outfit. #FastestFingerFirst.”

However not everyone was a huge fan of the sleek new look, as others compared the oversized blazer jacket to ill-fitting “school uniforms”.
One user argued: “#FastestFingerFirst Anita needs to find a smaller size of jacket”
Another pointed out: “Watching #FastetFingerFirst I always like @itsanitarani but what is she wearing today?!! Her outfit looks like a bad throwback to dodgy school uniforms.”
