Francine Lewis left 'devastated' as she claims husband had a secret affair

Britain’s Got Talent star Francine Lewis has claimed that she recently suspected her husband was cheating on her.

Francine, 47, shot to fame for her hilarious impressions on ITV’s hit show Britain’s Got Talent in 2013.

Speaking on GB News, Francine told of how she suspected it the night before appearing on the show (22 April). She believes her husband, Joel Ryan, was being unfaithful with “his best friend’s girlfriend”, a claim he denies.

In the shocking clip, Francine explains how she “stuck by” her husband amid being scammed of her £90,000 BGT fortune in 2018 and was “devastated” by the heart-breaking discovery, leaving the hosts gobsmacked.

Francine said: “Do you know what’s ironic? I stuck with my husband through this whole thing and then last night I found out he was cheating on me with his best friend’s girlfriend,” – a claim Joel denies.

She added: “And you know what, I wish I had gone there and then, because it was him who put me in that situation, and now he’s put me in this situation. I’m devastated.”

Presenters Mercy Muroki and Patrick Christys were lost for words after the revelation, Patrick leaned over the table towards Francine, asking: “Are you alright?”

Francine said: “I will be. I’m feeling shocked and numb, but you know what I’ll get through it. I have to, I’ve got two children,” the couple have two children together, Brooke, 15, and Jake, 11.

The presenters comforted Francine, Mercy said: “You’re a very strong woman,” and Patrick replied, “You are incredibly strong.”

Emotional Francine visibly looked hurt by the situation, saying: “I just feel like an idiot, again,” as she appeared to wipe a tear from her eye.

However, the impressionist quickly saved any further awkward conversation by slipping into character, and bursting out with an amazing Katie Price impression, she said: “Oh well, looks like another divorce, what can I say? I love it!”

Setting the presenters off in giggles, Patrick gushed: “That was such a good impression of Katie Price, just before you revealed the sad news about your husband, they were asking me if you could do an impression.

“I thought I don’t think it is anymore, I’ll just leave it, but you did it anyway!”

Responding to the claims, her husband Joel Ryan said: “I haven’t had an affair and I totally deny all of the claims made against me. I sent some messages to a friend’s partner and I hugely regret sending them, but I did not cheat or have an affair.
“I love Francine very much and I am ashamed of what I did and deeply sorry for the hurt I have caused. I just want to focus on my marriage.”

Francine made a whopping £90,000 during her time on Britain’s Got Talent, and touring afterwards, but was scammed from her riches when her husband encouraged her to invest in stocks and shares.

The couple put all their savings into Fomax Capital, which was based in Canary Wharf but was not a Financial Conduct Authority regulated company. The cowboy outfit then stole their savings, which Francine was hoping to put aside for her kids.
