The new date for this year’s National Television Awards has been announced after the initial event was postponed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8.
The event was due to take place on September 15 and it has now been moved to October 13 as the country carries out a period of national mourning for the Queen.
Voting has also been postponed for the special ceremony, with The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett set to present this year’s awards, including Best Talent Show and New Drama, live from Wembley Stadium.

How to vote in the National Television Awards
Voting was also postponed following the announcement of the Queen’s death.
The public vote will resume on Tuesday, September 20 at 9am and remain open until the day of the ceremony, October 13.
TV fans can vote for their favourite show via the NTA website.
How to watch the National Television Awards
The NTAs will be broadcast live on ITV and ITV Hub from Wembley Stadium on October 13.
The ceremony will be hosted by Joel Dommett, who replaced David Walliams as the host at last year’s ceremony.
The presenter is known for his roles including as the host of The Masked Singer and his appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
