Gavin and Stacey star Alison Steadman fears the hit sitcom is over.
The actress played Pamela Shipman in the hit TV comedy which first made its way onto TV screens in 2007 for 3 series until 2010.
The actress then returned alongside her famous co-stars for a special Christmas edition of the show in 2019.

Although fans are desperate for more of the BBC comedy, the 75-year-old actress thinks it’s done and dusted telling Radio Times: “I doubt it’ll go again.
She added: “But that’s what I said in the nine-year gap and I was wrong.”
The smash hit series also starred James Corden and Ruth Jones originally ended in 2010 but came back for a surprise Christmas special in 2019, which went down a storm with fans of the popular show.
However the holiday instalment ended on a cliffhanger when Nessa proposed to Smithy – and fans were left not knowing if he accepted.
This in turn led to much speculation and rumours that the show would return in some form to continue the story with fans hoping the likes of James Corden and Ruth Jones would reunite once again to make another series.
But the Olivier Award-winning actress also admits that despite starring across the stage and screen for decades, as she grows older, it gets harder for her to learn the necessary lines.
The Life is Sweet actress explained: “When you do a six-part series, it’s quite tough at my age to keep all the lines there.”
She added: “I need more time now. I can still learn them, obviously, but once I could pick up a script, look at the scene for an hour and it was in. Done. Now it might take a day or two. Your brain just gets slower.”
This comes as the actress recently revealed to Daily Star that she has no idea as to whether there will even be another episode, never mind a new series.
She explained that nobody dares ask Ruth, 54, or James, 43 if they plan on ever writing again as it’s an unwritten rule.
The Liverpool native explained: “We don’t ask, it’s kind of a given that you don’t go up and say ‘Ruth, is there going to be anymore?’
She added: “Believe me, if there’s going to be anymore, they will just get on with it and we’ll find out, it’s not fair to them to start probing and digging, so none of us would dare to do that.”
